Will I receive a boarding pass for the entire journey?
In most cases you'll receive a boarding pass for the entire journey, but it can depend on the partner airline.
When your connecting flight is with one of our codeshare partners, you can get a boarding pass to you final destination.
Most of the interline airlines we work with will offer you a boarding pass to your final destination, but there are some exceptions. Most interline airlines will check your baggage to your final destination, but you might have to check yourself in and get boarding passes online or at the check-in desk at the connecting airport.
When flying with easyJet, you need to check in baggage and get boarding pass at the connecting airport.
Please note: if you require special assistance, you might need to check-in and receive a boarding pass with the other airline you're flying with.
What about time between flights, do I need to worry about minimum connecting time?
We‘ll only offer you a flight where the connecting time between flights is sufficient for your travel.
What happens if I miss my connecting flight?
You can either contact us, or if you're at the airport, you can contact agents on-site for assistance for rebooking.
Will I have an access to a business lounge?
Lounge information can be found on the airport page of your connecting airport.
Saga Premium passengers, Saga Gold and Silver members, and passengers holding an Icelandic credit card that includes lounge benefits can access the Icelandair Saga Lounge at Keflavík airport when flying from or via Iceland.
Do I have to check my baggage in twice?
If you're flying via Iceland you'll get you baggage checked in to your next destination.
If you're flying to and connecting in North America, you need to pick up your bags at the connecting airport, go through customs and put your baggage on a baggage belt dedicated for connecting flights.
If you're flying to and connecting in Europe, in most cases you can check in your bags all the way to your final destination. There's an exception for passengers flying to/from domestic airports in Norway and connecting at an Norwegian international airport (such as Oslo or Bergen), as well as flying from London Heathrow and Manchester airport with two flight ticket numbers.
