** Fare conversion from round-trip to one-way fare is solely permitted for return flights. The conversion must retain the original date, flight number, and destination of the return leg. Fare conversion must be requested to our service center a minimum of three hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the first flight in the ticket.

Combining fares in a single booking

For round-trip travel, there are restrictions on which fares can be combined:

• Economy Light fares can only be combined with other Economy Light fares
• Economy Standard fare + Saga Premium fare – may be combined (you can fly Economy Standard one way and Saga Premium the other)
• Economy Flex fare + Saga Premium Flex fare – may be combined (you can fly Economy Flex one way and Saga Premium Flex the other)

Note that when fares are combined and you wish to make changes, change fees apply when:

• Only 1 flight segment is being changed and a change fee applies to that segment.
• The higher change fee applies if both segments are being changed.

If a name is spelled incorrectly, you can have it changed by contacting our service center.

Name changes or ticket transfers (for example, Mary Smith to John Fraser) are not permitted, except for legal name change reasons (such as gender change or name changes due to marriage).

An individual passenger can book an extra seat for personal comfort and extra space. The extra seat is charged the same fare that would be charged to another passenger occupying the seat. However, no airport taxes are paid on the extra seat.

The seat is subject to availability at the time of booking and payment is made upon booking. The extra seat cannot be used for transporting extra baggage.

An extra seat cannot be booked online. If you want to reserve an extra seat, please make your booking through our Service Center.

The Unaccompanied Minor service charges are as follows:

Only one fee is charged if two or more unaccompanied minors are traveling together.

Standard seat selection is complimentary with all Icelandair tickets, and can be managed using My Journey or when you check-in online. For a fee, you can also reserve a seat with More Legroom. For More Legroom seat pricing, visit our More Legroom page.

Maximum dimensions of a carry-on bag: 21.6 x 15.7 x 7.8 inches (55 x 40 x 20 cm), including handles and wheels.

Maximum dimensions of a small item: 15.7 x 11.8 x 5.9 inches (40 x 30 x 15 cm).

Total dimensions (length + width + height) of a checked bag may not exceed 62 inches (158 cm).

When your travel includes multiple airlines, different or additional fees may apply as the services and fees of our codeshare and interline partner may differ. Customers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the baggage allowances given in their tickets.

Please note: Porter PD is an interline partner of Icelandair, but check-in from Reykjavik to Porter PD destinations via Boston Logan International or Washington Dulles International airports is not available. If you are traveling onward via Porter PD from Boston or Dulles, you will need to check in at these airports.
