On this fun and adventurous tour you'll experience some of the many different landscapes found in Iceland.
First you'll head towards Mýrdalsjökull glacier for a view of the volcano Katla - the country's largest and most active volcano. You'll also stop at the magnificent Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which you can walk behind of, and the stunning Skógafoss waterfall. Last but not least, you'll hop on an ATV (all-terrain vehicles/quads) and start the adventure of crossing rivers, visiting the promontory Dyrhólaey, and gliding across Sólheimasandur beach - the site of the famous DC-3 aircraft wreck. The site has been photographed by countless travellers, plus filmed in a Bollywood movie along with several TV commercials, music videos and featured in a 2007 documentary of Iceland's famous rock band, Sigur Rós.
Important: Price is based on two persons sharing one ATV. In order to ride solo, customers will be required to pay a fee to the tour operator upon arrival on the day of their tour.
What do I bring? A few things! Good outdoor shoes, and since weather changes can be sudden and frequently unexpected, bring warm, waterproof clothes including jacket, pants, headwear and gloves.
Feeling hungry? If you forgot to pack a lunch, this tour makes a stop on the way were you can buy lunch. It is recommended to sit down for lunch before the ride, and perhaps a light snack afterwards.
