We’re currently expanding our fleet and some of our newest aircraft do not yet have Wi-Fi available for passengers. These aircraft are scheduled for Wi-Fi installation in the coming months.

From gate to gate
Wi-Fi is available on our fleet of Boeing 757, 767 and 737 aircraft, from the moment you step on the plane until you are back in the airport.
For a small fee, passengers in Economy can purchase access to Wi-Fi on a single device.
Passengers flying Saga Premium and Saga Premium Flex receive complimentary Wi-Fi access for 2 devices.
Icelandair Saga Gold members receive complimentary Wi-Fi access for 2 devices.
Members of our frequent flyer program, Icelandair Saga Club, can pay for Wi-Fi using their Saga Points.

How do I connect to the Wi-Fi network?
Make sure your mobile device is set to flight mode
during all phases of flight. Then activate Wi-Fi on
your device.
Through the Icelandair portal you can now connect
to the Wi-Fi to browse the web, read and send email/
text messages or stream your own media content.
What you can expect
The Wi-Fi delivers a gate to gate home-quality
broadband connection to every passenger device
on the aircraft.
You can use the Wi-Fi to browse the web, read
and send emails/text messages or stream media
content.
Wi-Fi speed is not impacted by how many
passengers are using the connection at the
same time.
Wi-Fi is available from the moment you board and

How do I connect to the Wi-Fi network?

Choose the “Icelandair Internet Access” network.
Open your browser of choice and go to
wifi.icelandairwifi.com to connect to the
Icelandair portal.
Through the Icelandair portal you can now
connect to the Wi-Fi to browse or to use your
email. The connection speed is not ideal for
streaming media content.
What you can expect
The connection speed is similar to 3G.
Keep in mind that the on-board Wi-Fi is therefore
not as fast as home connections and not ideal for
streaming media content.
The number of users can affect the speed of
the connection.
