A trip to the East of Iceland and its fjords

Egilsstadir, the largest town in East Iceland is ideally located for visitors driving on the ring road to explore the fjords and Vatnajökull National Park. The East is the perfect region for hiking and biking with its 25 miles (40km) marked paths, but also for bird and nature lovers with its largest forest Hallormsstaðaskógur. Take the chance to discover the legend of Lagarfjlót lake and learn more about the culture of the fishing villages. From Egilsstadir, you would not want to miss the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and can spend some relaxing time in Vök Baths after a day full of adventures.
