Hvammsvík Hot Springs

At Hvammsvík Hot Springs you can immerse yourself in eight unique natural hot springs only 45 minutes from Reykjavik surrounded by spectacular mountains, wildlife and ocean.

Hvammsvík Hot springs are situated right on the Atlantic Ocean, with water levels and temperatures of some of our natural pools fluctuating with the high and low tides.

At Hvammsvík Hot springs you are immersed in a perfect fusion of geothermal water, flowing from our very own source 1.400 meters underground that we mix with seawater straight from the Atlantic ocean.

The Hvalfjörður (Whale fjord) area offers many great hiking routes, among them the popular Glymur waterfall hike. Take a hike and then a soak in Hvammsvík Hot Springs followed by a delicious seafood soup at Stormur Bistro & bar, it is a recipe for a perfect nature day near Reykjavík City Center.

Please note: Transfers to Hvammsvík are not available. Transporation to the Hot Springs are the responsibility of the visitor.

Insurance
