Service animals are dogs, regardless of breed or type, that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a qualified individual. On our flights, we accept service animals that accompany travelers with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Such animals include but are not limited to:
Animal species other than dogs, emotional support animals intended to mitigate a passenger’s disability by their presence, comfort animals, companionship animals, therapy animals and service animals in training are not service animals for the purposes of this part and are not accepted in the cabin on Icelandair flights.
